"Authentic Symi life with a modern touch!"
Thea is an amazing place and "Panos" is the man. He is creating wonders within this authentic Greek mansion which used to belong to his grandmother. Panos messaged us before our arrival and asked if we need to be picked up from the ferry. He even gave us ferry suggestions. We were already staying at another hotel, so he came and picked us up from there. Then at the end of our stay he took us back to the ferry; even gave us a last minute shopping chance on the way to the harbour. Thea is an authentic Greek mansion with all the contemporary neccessities. There are 5 rooms. The rooms are immaculately clean. We stayed at the courtyard room which is great if you are with a kid. Even this courtyard room has great view of the Symi harbor. There are 4 more rooms on the upper two levels. These rooms have balconies with a higher view of the harbor. Theas's location is the best of the best: You are very close to the Symi center and to the taxi boats (which you will use alot) yet the place is very private and secluded from the busy Symi center. It's at the starting point of the stairs going up to the Chorio (the village) on the hill. The room has kitchen amenities that you can prepare your own breakfast. You just need to buy the delicous Symi breads from the bakery very close to Thea. You have complementary wine, coffee, tea, yogurt, honey, butter, bottled water etc waiting for you. Except the first bottle of wine, all the others get replaced everyday. We wish we had couple of more days at Thea… I will come back to Thea for sure, soon.
